An author, poet, literary consultant, journalist, and editor, and the owner of "The Tree" publishing house for children's books. She headed the editorial board of Disney Mickey Mouse magazine and National Geographic Young Explorer magazine in Arabic since 2003. Farah wrote many children's films and song lyrics for children's programs and films. She authored a number of books, including: "Happy Endings," "Memories of a Girl," and "The Box." She has received numerous awards, most notably the UNESCO International Award for Children's Literature. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Arabic Literature from Cairo University.
