"Trees may not have a mind, a voice, eyes, hands, or feet, but they bestow endless blessings upon the world."
The story delves into the profound meaning of giving, using the symbol of a tree to illustrate how someone who lacks apparent abilities, such as movement or speech—due to a disability—can still be a source of good and benefit to the world. The message is intellectual and deep, yet presented in a simple and engaging style for children.

Targeted Values

  1. Value of Diversity and Difference: The story encourages accepting people with determination and recognizing their unique abilities.

  2. Message of Silent Miracles: Just as a tree gives without a sound, giving does not require apparent absolutes.

  3. Self-Motivation: The goal is for children to feel their ability to give despite challenges—believing in their identity and belonging.

Suggestions for Interactive Activities

The story can be explored in several additional ways, such as:

Interactive activities: drawing tree leaves that represent each child's talents.

Discussions with children about: What do they contribute to the world?

Reading sessions with guidance for parents and teachers to discuss with children their roles and talents.
